What to expect
Your First Appointments
We recommend booking 2 initial appointments within the first two weeks for new clients. We find this spacing increases the effectiveness of your treatment which is especially important if you are currently dealing with an active issue. Each session builds upon the last making faster progress when spaced closer together. This also allows us to create a treatment plan based on your accurate feedback including what changes occurred, whether subtle or profound. Each CranioSacral session is unique to the individual and their treatment goals.
A link will be emailed to you once your first appointment is made to set up your online profile and complete the intake forms. Your information will be reviewed prior to your first appointment, so please be sure this is complete before you arrive and please be as thorough as possible.

Waiting Room
When you arrive at our office building, please go to the second floor to suite 202. You will find a spacious waiting room in the Anchored Hope Therapy office suite. Please make yourself comfortable and keep in mind, this is a shared space with many other practitioners and patients. We ask that you remain in the waiting room until your practitioner comes to meet you. You can find the restrooms in the main hallway. Please store the restroom code in your phone for quick reference. Women’s is 4231 and Men’s is 5234.
What to Wear
Please wear clothing that is loose and comfortable to lie down in as you will remain clothed during your session.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment are subject to a cancellation fee. You are responsible for the full amount of the session if not canceled prior to 24 hours.
Illness Safety/Policy
If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, viral infection, including Covid, please reschedule your appointment. This includes but is not limited to, new onset cough, fever, nasal congestion, sore throat, and/or stomach/intestinal symptoms. If you have allergies or other reasons why you may be experiencing some of these symptoms, please feel free to message us at 410-417-8004 to see if it is ok to keep your appointment. If you have any people in your household that are actively contagious, please reschedule your appointment. Cancellations on the day of your appointment due to illness are not subject to the full cancellation fee.
Payment Options
We accept Credit Cards, Personal Checks, and Cash.
Personal Checks must be made out to Catherine Whelan, LLC.
We offer a $5 discount for Cash or Check payments.
Understanding Catherine's Teaching Schedule
Catherine is commited to providing the best care possible to her clients. She also has full teaching schedule with the Upledger Institute which occastionally changes with short notice. In these cases we will need to reschedule appointments. We thank you for your understanding in advance of these disruptions. And we ask that you please be patient with us if there is an occastion that this affects you. We will make it a priority to reschedule you in a timely fashion.
