Cura Wellness Support
Stacey Slayback, BSN, RN, ATC Cura Personalis - Care of the Whole Person
Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch, full body treatment that works with the bones, fluids, membranes and fascia that make up the craniosacral system. Bringing balance to this system can create positive effects in other body systems including the nervous, digestive and musculoskeletal systems. Receiving Craniosacral Therapy supports the body’s ability to correct and heal itself and generally creates a relaxed state of body and mind.
Stacey comes to this practice with more than 30 years of experience as a nurse and athletic trainer in outpatient settings. Her practice grew out of a desire to share with others the profound effects Craniosacral Therapy had on her own health and sense of well being. Stacey incorporates CranioSacral Therapy and its gentle supportive nature to complement her knowledge of sports medicine and orthopedic surgery recovery.
Stacey has had extensive experience working with student-athletes at the NCAA Division 1 Level. For the last 15 years, she has worked in a large orthopedic surgery practice where her focus has been sports medicine and shoulder, hip, and knee replacement.
The foundations of Stacey’s practice are cura personalis, or care of the whole person, respect for each person's capacity for self-correction and healing, and supporting growth through all seasons and circumstances of life.
In her free time, Stacey enjoys yoga, cycling, gardening, and exploring the Chesapeake Bay by jet ski with her husband, Joe. Welcoming clients aged 14 years and up.

I look forward to partnering with you on your wellness journey. CranioSacral therapy provides a way to listen to and support the body and mind. Together we can create individualized sessions that enhance your physical and emotional well-being. I will also provide takeaways for self-care between our sessions.

"The body is a symphony of motion. On every level, our greatest promise for health is achieved when our body parts, from cellular to gross, are free to move in harmony with one another."

What people say
"I highly recommend Cura by Stacey. Stacey introduced me to CST, is extremely knowledgeable about the subject, and communicates it very well. Her background is rounded out by decades of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. When I have sustained injuries from athletics, Stacey’s holistic approach to treatment is relaxing, comforting, and has helped to return me to the field quickly and feeling better than ever."
Kevin B.
"Stacey has treated my gut, shoulders, neck, hips and back over several years. Her gentle touch, focus and attention to what is going on with my body at each session is phenomenal. When she is done, I feel relaxed yet energized - as I always feel better than I did before she started the treatment. I can’t say enough about her service, professionalism and compassionate care.
I will be a forever client."
